Terms of use
Last updated October 9, 2026
These terms apply to plaidorca.com and to the Plaid Orca finder wherever it appears, including when it is shown on a health center's website. Plaid Orca is owned and operated by PDM Group (“we”, “us”). By using it, you agree to these terms. Organizations with dashboard accounts also agree to the Terms for organizations.
Information, not advice
Plaid Orca explains changes to Medi-Cal in plain language and lists providers that may be able to help. It is not medical, legal or eligibility advice. It doesn't decide who qualifies for Medi-Cal or what Medi-Cal will pay for. For decisions about your coverage, contact your county office or the Medi-Cal Helpline at 1-800-541-5555. In an emergency, call 911.
Provider listings
Listings come from the State of California's file of providers enrolled in Medi-Cal Fee-for-Service and from calls logged by participating health centers. Providers change their availability without notice. Being listed doesn't mean a provider will accept you or has an opening, and it isn't a recommendation. Always call before you go.
Who owns Plaid Orca
PDM Group owns Plaid Orca and all of its content and technology. This includes the software, designs, text, translations, graphics, the way provider data is organized and classified, and the verification records. These are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. A health center that shows the finder on its website does so under permission from PDM Group and does not own the finder or its content. Plaid Orca and the Plaid Orca mark are trademarks of PDM Group. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
How you may use it
You may use Plaid Orca to look for care for yourself, your family or the people you help. You may not:
- scrape, bulk-download, copy or republish the provider listings or verification records;
- copy, modify, reverse engineer or build a competing service from Plaid Orca;
- place the finder on a website, or frame Plaid Orca pages, without our permission;
- remove ownership or copyright notices, or present Plaid Orca as someone else's product;
- try to get around security or access controls, overload the service, or test its security without written permission;
- use Plaid Orca to mislead patients or break the law.
Other websites
Some links, such as directions in Google Maps or a provider's phone number, take you to services we don't control. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.
No warranties
Plaid Orca is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that it will always be available or free of errors.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, PDM Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from your use of Plaid Orca. Our total liability for any claim is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
Governing law
California law governs these terms. Disputes go to the state or federal courts for Napa County, California, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use Plaid Orca means you accept the update.
